The technical parameters of a magnetizer directly determine its performance and scope of application. A correct understanding of these parameters is essential for equipment selection.
Analysis of the main technical parameters:
1. Magnetizing voltage: This is the key parameter that determines the strength of the magnetic field. Common magnetizing voltages range from 1000V to 6000V. Materials with high coercivity, such as NdFeB, usually require a magnetizing voltage of 3000V or more.
2. Capacitor capacity: The capacitor is the core energy storage element of the magnetizer, with a capacity ranging from 2000μF to 60,000μF. The larger the capacitance, the more energy is stored and the stronger the magnetizing energy.
3. Magnetizing energy: calculated as E = 0.5 × C × V2 in Joules (J). The magnetizing energy directly affects the magnetizing effect, and generally needs to be 2-3 times the energy required for saturation magnetization of the material.
4. Repeatability: Voltage repeatability is usually required to reach ±1V, which ensures the consistency and stability of the magnetization effect.
5. Work cycle: refers to the interval between two magnetizations, generally from 1.6 to 6 seconds, which affects productivity.
